About
Ghusn Collective was born from a simple but powerful idea: that what we wear can be both beautiful and deeply meaningful.
“Ghusn” means branch, a symbol of growth, resilience, and connection to roots. It reflects the journey of branching from heritage while staying anchored in it. “Collective” speaks to something larger than one identity or one story. Ghusn exists within a shared Muslim experience, shaped by faith, culture, memory, and the many paths that lead people to Islam, including those of born Muslims and reverts alike.
At the heart of Ghusn Collective is its founder, Eman Jallaq, a Palestinian American Muslim woman who wears hijab and carries a lived experience shaped by identity across generations and cultures. She is first, second, and multigenerational in her American experience, growing up across layered worlds of diaspora, heritage, and belonging. That experience created a quiet but persistent longing to return to something deeper, to build something that felt rooted rather than fragmented, and to create pieces that could carry that sense of return.
Growing up between cultures, Eman often found that hijabs in the market either lacked intentional design or did not reflect the depth of meaning, heritage, and spirituality she felt drawn to. Ghusn Collective was created to bridge that gap, to design pieces that feel elevated, modern, and refined while still honoring the visual language of heritage in its many forms.
Each design is created in-house by Eman, drawing inspiration from motifs, architecture, and cornerstones of everyday life across cultures, including influences rooted in Palestine and the wider Muslim world. These inspirations are reimagined through a contemporary, luxury-driven lens. The result is a collection that is understated yet expressive, timeless yet current, designed to be worn with ease, confidence, and intention.
Ghusn Collective is designed for all Muslims who seek beauty with meaning, whether they have worn hijab for years or have just begun their journey into it. Our pieces are intentionally accessible because elegance, dignity, and representation should be available to everyone, not reserved for a few. Every detail is considered, from fabric to form, to create hijabs that feel as effortless as they are refined.
When you wear Ghusn, you are not just wearing a piece of fabric, you are wearing intention. We hope you feel beautiful, but also grounded. We hope you feel a sense of belonging to your faith, your identity, and the wider Muslim community. And we hope you feel that your purchase carries purpose.
A portion of every collection is dedicated to giving back, with monthly contributions supporting causes such as masjids, educational institutions, Palestinian organizations, and broader Muslim initiatives. This commitment is not separate from Ghusn, it is part of its foundation. Growth for us is only meaningful when it is shared.
At its core, Ghusn Collective is about refinement without detachment, luxury without exclusion, and heritage expressed through a shared spiritual and cultural language. It is about staying rooted while branching outward, always with intention, always with care.
